“Sarantario, The Mountain of Temptation “.Is a full length documentary film shot in Israel & Palestine and follows the extraordinary story of a Greek Orthodox monk. Father Gerasimos and his life in a “special” place like the monastery in Sarantarion Mountain. The ancient monastery is rising to a height of 350 meters below sea level and commanding a magnificent and panoramic view of the Jordan Valley, is the site where Jesus spent forty days and forty nights fasting and meditating during the temptation of Devil, about 3 km northwest of Jericho.
